Privacy Policy

Effective June 25, 2026

Who we are

Dream House Improvement ("we", "us", or "our") designs and builds custom kitchens, bath vanities, walk-in closets, and millwork in the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, our contact and consultation forms, lead forms shown in our online advertising, and direct phone and email contact.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a contact or consultation request — on our website or through a lead form in one of our ads — we collect the details you provide, which typically include your name, email address, phone number, and any information you share about your project (such as the service you’re interested in, scope, timeline, or budget).

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics and advertising providers automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies — for example your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. This helps us understand site performance and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.

How we use your information

We use the personal information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule your in-home design consultation, prepare quotes and project proposals, and communicate with you about your project. We use automatically collected information to operate and improve our website, understand which marketing brings us genuine inquiries, and measure conversions from our advertising.

We will only use your information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for compatible purposes, unless we obtain your consent or are otherwise permitted by law.

Advertising and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and Google Ads conversion tracking (including Google’s lead form extensions) to measure the results of our advertising. These services may set cookies and collect usage data as described above. Where required, advertising features run only with your consent.

You can learn about and control Google’s use of data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, opt out of Google Analytics via the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business — such as our website hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, email delivery services, and the analytics and advertising platforms described above — and only to the extent needed to perform those services on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of others.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of our communications and any resulting project — and as required to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and withdraw your consent to our use of it (which may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry). To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of analytics and ad personalization using the links in the "Advertising and analytics" section above.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take care to protect the information you entrust to us.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
