Inside the Dream House Improvement workshop
About the Studio

Twenty years of milling,
joining, and finishing — by hand.

Our Story

A workshop, not a factory.

Dream House Improvement was founded on a simple belief — the cabinetry you live with every day deserves the same care as the architecture around it. Two decades later, we still mill every panel, cut every joint, and finish every surface by hand in our GTA workshop.

We work with a small number of homeowners each quarter so we can devote the time each project deserves. From the first sketch in your home to the moment the last handle is fitted, you work with the same designer and the same lead craftsman.

What We Stand For

Three commitments, every project.

One craftsman per project

Your kitchen is not passed between hands. One lead artisan owns the build from raw slab to installed cabinet — so the joinery you live with for 25 years carries one signature.

No factory shortcuts

Every panel is milled, joined, sanded, and finished in our Toronto workshop. No imported flat-pack components, no rushed assembly, no compromises.

Materials we stand behind

European walnut, white oak, fumed eucalyptus — all FSC-certified, hand-selected for grain match. Hardware from Blum, Häfele, and Salice. Lifetime structural warranty on every piece.
